They finally did it! Blizzard has announced the release date for the much-anticipated World of Warcraft: Classic . So set your calendar for August 27, 2019.
Anticipation Abounds for World of Warcraft: Classic
The hotly waited for reboot of the world famous MMORPG has been in the works for almost 2 years since being announced at Blizzcon 2017. Speculation was abound as to what features from current World of Warcraft would be implemented. But as of right now, if you have ever played original World of Warcraft then you know that it will be slow and possibly painstaking. You will have ammo for guns and bows. And to speak of ammo, bag space will be a premium as in keys will need slots and mounts and keys and so on. I am sure we will find out the future of Classic at Blizzcon 2019.
There will be a stress test very soon allowing for anyone who wants to experience it briefly for a few days. But there few caveats though. You will need a current active subscription to World of Warcraft in order to participate in the stress test as well as the live version of Classic.
Stress test will be taking place on
- 1: Weds May 22 – Thurs May 23
- 2: Weds June 19 – Thurs 20
- 3: Thurs Jul 18 – Fri July 19
You will also need to make sure that your beta invite options are updated to include World of Warcraft Classic.
