Disney CEO Bob Iger hinted that there is “at least” one other, live-action Star Wars series in the works for Disney+. We already know about The Mandalorian and the Cassian Andor spy thriller. Beyond that, what the third live-action series will entail is anyone’s guess. That, of course, doesn’t stop us from theorizing and speculating. Today we’ll list the rumored Star Wars series, discuss their likelihood, and how badly fans want (or don’t want) to see them.
Rumored Star Wars Series: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Fans have wanted a stand-alone Obi-Wan Kenobi feature since they first heard Ewan McGregor utter the words “hello there”. The project was on-again, off-again, on-again until Lucasfilm botched the release and marketing of Solo: A Star Wars Story. The film’s (relative) poor showing at the box office put the brakes on all, future, “Star Wars Story” films thereafter. The rumor is that Kenobi may get his day (or days, rather) via a miniseries on Disney+. There’s no word on whether McGregor or will be attached. I’d say the likelihood of this one is still pretty slim, but strangers things have happened in the galaxy far, far away.
Boba Fett
Let’s face it – The Mandalorian pretty much pushed a Boba Fett feature off the radar. As far as rumored Star Wars series go, I think it’s time to move on from the Mandalorian armor-clad bounty hunter and put him on ice in the hold with captain Solo.
Rumored Star Wars Series: Young Leia
This one actually has some promise, especially if Disney and Lucasfilm are able to secure Millie Bobby Brown in the lead role. The only downside is trying to recreate such an iconic figure. That didn’t exactly go over so well with Solo. Then again, Brown is talented actress. Most feel she’d be able to shoulder the burden of portraying every Star Wars fans’ favorite princess.

Mos Eisley meets Casablanca. A space port of scum and villany during the time of Jabba The Hut and the rise of the Empire. So many great characters can pass through that Cantina.
