Biggest of the Episode IX Surprises: The Ending

Right now, despite all the leaks and rumors, there are few other than JJ Abrams that know how the Skywalker saga will end. And it will end; Oscar Isaac and others have already confirmed that Episode IX will bring the entire, nine-episode Skywalker story arc to a close. Given more than four decades of Skywalker history, that’s a tall order.

JJ Abrams has more weight on his shoulders to get this right that any other Star Wars director in the history of the franchise. Whether he claims Last Jedi backlash influenced his approach to Episode IX or not, I think we all know that it most likely, certainly did. Come December, expect to see the most epic Star Wars film of all time.
