Episode IX Action
Because of the direction in which Rian Johnson took The Last Jedi, no one has any more than an inkling of what to expect from Episode IX. This is Star Wars, though. Episode IX is the final installment not only of the sequel trilogy, but the entire Skywalker saga. The Resistance will likely be less organized, and far smaller a force than was the Rebellion in the original Star Wars. This will be the battle to end all battles. Expect to see snippets of what may be the most grandiose space battle of the entire franchise when the Episode IX trailer rolls for the first time.
Likewise, you can’t end a Star Wars trilogy without an epic lightsaber duel. If there are no lightsabers flashing and clashing in the trailer, I’ll be most surprised.
So what do you think we’ll see, or what do you want to see, when we finally get the Episode IX trailer?
Star Wars: Episode IX opens December 20, 2019.
