WWE has confirmed that WrestleMania 36 will take place in Tampa, Florida from the Raymond James Stadium next year.
The press conference started out with WWE Hall of Famer, Hulk Hogan. “This is really special for me. This is my home town, and this is where I fell in love with wrestling.” Hulk went on to talk about what WrestleMania will mean for the city of Tampa itself.
I can’t tell you how exciting it is to be bringing WrestleMania right here to Tampa Bay for the first time in over thirty-five years. It’s amazing to me that we haven’t been here, which only means that we have absolutely got to blow WrestleMania out of the water and make Tampa Bay the best one yet.

Family Reunions and The Future
Stephanie McMahon went over the various celebrities that have made appearances over the years, some marquee matches from year’s past, and the most important part: The fan experience. She mentioned road trips, yearly vacations, and the age range of fans that love professional wrestling. “WrestleMania is like a week long family reunion.”
Titus O’Neil was out next, mainly to speak about what WrestleMania will do for the community outside of the ring. Titus spoke about how Tampa is the home to many WWE superstars, and how it will be an honor to give back to the community. O’Neil mentioned Make-A-Wish, Circle of Champions, visits to local hospitals, and bully prevention rallies as just a few of the examples. He also said that the impact they would have would start today, as they would be visiting a local Boys and Girls Club later in the day.
Triple H, who was announced as Paul Levesque, address the press as well. He spoke about how many of the superstars of today’s dreams started in Tampa. Triple H hyped up how the world will get to see the amazing community of Tampa come next year, and how big that will be in the long run. He went on to talk about the WWE Performance Center, and the brand of NXT. He also spoke about every superstar that is on the main roster today that came up through NXT.
It’s where our fans get to see the kid, like Hulk Hogan, get the spark in his eye and the dream in his heart and live that dream.

Women’s Evolution and Little Moments
Charlotte Flair spoke briefly about the Women’s Evolution, and how far they’ve come since being described as Divas. She mentioned her upcoming match at this year’s WrestleMania, and said that the women’s division is just getting started.
Roman Reigns closed out the press conference, and joked about how hard it is to close out a press conference because everyone has already said all the good stuff. Reigns did a run down of his WrestleMania moments, and mentioned that those aren’t the greatest moments he takes from the event. Roman mentioned that it’s not always the big moments that are most memorable, but the little moments. His favorite memory was the smiles on his children’s faces while they ran around backstage at last year’s WrestleMania. “You just never know what that moment is going to be. But we’re proud to be here in Tampa, and I just want to say please come make that moment with WWE. Thank you.”
No date for WrestleMania was announced. We could bet safely that it will be the first or second Sunday of April 2020. The weather historical should be on the nicer side. We would love to hear your thoughts on the location of next year’s WrestleMania in the comments! Also, what do you think of the logo?
