We are just months away from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opening in both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And this morning during the Walt Disney Company’s Shareholders Conference Call, Walt Disney Company President Bob Iger revealed when the new area is opening in both parks.

Starting with Disneyland, the Star Wars park expansion will open May 31st, 2019.

As for Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, it will be opening August 29th, 2019. This is a lot earlier than Disney had originally planned. Nevertheless, it’s exciting to know it’s opening in just five months.

Not all rides and features will be fully up and running when the Galaxy’s Edge theme park expansions open, however. There will be a secondary opening in the land for the widely anticipated Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance.

So it seems with Disney confirming the parks’ opening dates, the previews for both parks will be starting in a few months. Stay tuned here at That Hashtag Show for more information about Galaxy’s Edge and all your Star Wars news!
