The mystery of the countdown that Matt Jackson has been posting will be solved on January 1st, 2019 at 3PM EST.
The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, and CODY all seemingly have something up their sleeve. The rumors of the new promotion backed by co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars Tony Khan, as well as Chris Jericho and Jim Ross. Nothing besides a bunch of All Elite Wrestling trademarks have been filed.
Could this all be a SWERVE, and could all five of these men be headed to WWE? We’ve heard rumors about The Young Bucks and CODY turning down insane contracts from WWE. Hangman Page also turned down a deal as well. So this would negate the “all for one and one for all” attitude The Elite has been touting.
The more and more you look at it, it seems likely that the former would be the best choice going forward. “Let’s change the world,” is what they said in the latest episode of BEING THE ELITE. What better way to do that with a brand new promotion with the money to back it up?
Fortunately for us, we only have a little under a week to find out how The Elite will change the wrestling world.
