Entertainment Weekly have once again delivered the goods with a couple of brand new images from the upcoming action threequel; John Wick: Chapter 3.

After the conclusion of John Wick: Chapter 2, we saw John violate the rules of The Continental and was therefore given the opportunity to run before some of the most dangerous killers and assassins come after him. So it’s safe to say that he will be in danger when we catch up with him.

In the first image, we see our titular hero in a very familiar looking environment as he stumbles his way through a bustling crowd in a metropolitan area. The rain is pounding down upon his head making this an area we are very used to seeing John in throughout these movies. It will most certainly be fun to see him return to a city landscape for the third movie.

The second and arguably more interesting image shows John in the middle of a desert with a new dog and is joined by Halle Berry.

Firstly, a desert biome is something we have not seen in this franchise thus far, making this scene one to look out for as we are curious as to why he is in the dessert. We also see him with a new dog in the form of a German Shepherd, what happened to his other one? We’ll have to wait and see.

We also see him joined by Halle Berry’s Sofia character who appears to be an ally for John Wick which is definitely something he is going to need if the entire world of assassins is coming after him. Sofia will be stumbled across when John arrives in the Middle East. She seems to be a fun character, an interesting character and one who is most likely as complicated as our hero.

These images have gotten us very excited for the third film and we are sure that John Wick: Chapter 3 will drive the franchise to be an excellent trilogy when it hits theatres on May 17th 2019.
