That Hashtag Show: What advice do you have for anyone looking to get into cosplay?
Feisty Vee: If I had to give just one piece of advice to anyone looking to get into cosplaying it’s this: Cosplay for yourself! If you love a character- cosplay it! If you put your time and love into that costume be proud of your work and don’t compare yourself to others. We’re all at different levels of cosplaying, and there is no one “right” way to Cosplay! The word “Cosplay” literally stands for Costume Play. So get out there, have FUN, and if you like to cosplay you should continue doing it as long as you enjoy it!
That Hashtag Show: What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
Feisty Vee: Something most people probably don’t know about me is… *drum roll please* When I was in college, I competed semi-professionally in Mixed Martial Arts. I was lucky enough to be a part of a competition team of 10 fighters who traveled all over California for tournaments and MMA fights. Now that I’ve graduated college and joined the work force, I still spend 5 days a week in the gym except now instead of punching people in the face I’m working on lifting. I’m really interested in how lifting can change the human form, and I strive to be a better version of myself every day!
