Star Wars Planets No. 4: Endor

The lush, green forests of Endor were unlike anything we’d seen before in Star Wars. The utility and/or purpose of Ewoks aside, Endor served a critical battleground in the galactic battle between good and evil. From there Han Solo, Chewbacca and the others managed to take down the Death Star II’s shield. Doing so paved the way for freedom in the galaxy.

It was also on Endor that Luke Skywalker revealed Leia’s true lineage to his sister. Finally, Luke turned himself over to Darth Vader on Endor. Endor was a major pivot point in the Skywalker saga.
