‘Rusev Day’ is one of the most over things in WWE currently but it doesn’t seem that the company is capitalizing on it. We know that Rusev has been frustrated with the WWE as of late by not getting TV time or being pulled from facing The Undertaker at The Greatest Royal Rumble, which he did end up getting.
Earlier this week the Bulgarian Brute posted this cryptic post on Twitter:
Time to Restart at developmental ???? #NXT #TakeOver #ThisPlaceWorks #WeAreNXT pic.twitter.com/lyZMisOlDl

Many believe that NXT is a place that wrestlers see tremendous success in character development and match quality and then coming to the main roster NXT stars are lost in the shuffle and it’s a hard point to argue against. Tyler Breeze, Finn Balor, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Sami Zayn were all thought to be WWE’s future talent that would be dominating when they arrived to the main roster but all have lost steam.
With NXT War Games right around the corner on Survivor Series weekend maybe we see the “Restart” of Rusev.
Do you think Rusev should return to NXT? Leave a message in the comments below.
