John Boyega is pissed off and he’s not mincing words. After last week’s news that Kelly Marie Tran had deleted her Instagram account because of constant trolling and harassing from spineless Star Wars fans. It’s been said that the trolls would harass her about her weight and race and she just couldn’t take it anymore. As soon as news broke out fans, peers and all of her co-stars were quick to Tran’s defense. Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley and even The LAST Jedi director Rian Johnson all stood up for Tran and immediately condemned these so called fans. Boyega took to twitter today to give is opinion and he’s all in.

“If you don’t like Star Wars or the characters understand that there are decisions makers and harassing the actors/ actresses will do nothing. You’re not entitled to politeness when your approach is rude. Even if you paid for a ticket!” he wrote.

He then followed up with a second tweet and added,

“To the majority of Star Wars fans thank you for supporting and putting yourselves in our shoes. You understand that there is a process so much appreciated!”

Bravo John, Bravo. Although Boyega’s response was great, nothing beats Rian Johnson’s tweets last week.

“What we talk about when we talk about manbabies,” he wrote.

He then added, “On social media a few unhealthy people can cast a big shadow on the wall, but over the past 4 years I’ve met lots of real fellow SW fans. We like & dislike stuff but we do it with humor, love & respect. We’re the VAST majority, we’re having fun & doing just fine.”

With over a year before we get another Star Wars film, maybe this time will help fans re-think saying things before they actually think about it.
