When it comes to cameos in the new Star Wars film SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY there a quite a few that automatically come to mind that would be almost a sure thing. From Jabba the Hutt, Boba Fett to even Darth Vader, who knows who can be in it. Well it looks like we might have gotten a hint today from Luke Skywalker himself Mark Hamill speaking on a podcast courtesy of Star Wars News Net . In the interview he said he recently had lunch with Anthony Daniels and he was happy about an upcoming appearance.

“Ha-ha-ha-ha! (Anthony) Daniels was so happy, ’cause he’s in every single Star Wars movie. Every single one. All the Prequels, he’s in Rogue One, he’s in Solo… Whoops! I hope that’s not, erm… But anyway, he’s in Every. Single. Star Wars movie. That’s not such a reveal, all Star Wars fans expect him to be in every movie.”

I have to say that C-3PO is the last familiar character that I thought would be in this film but the more I think about it it makes sense. It’s unlikely that 3PO will have any direct contact with Han seeing as the two are first introduced in A New Hope, but fans should definitely be on the lookout for the over-talkative droid. Maybe we’ll see him in a quick cameo on Tattooine. But what about R2-D2? Will he also make a cameo alongside his good friend? I will say this, it’s looking more likely that both R2 and 3PO are looking way more likely to be featured in every Star Wars film ever made. It’s easy to now believe that they will even be in the next trilogy directed by Rian Johnson.

We’ll just have to wait 18 more days to see where the droids will fit in Solo.
