There’s a new number one title on the Top Streaming Show list. Disney+ went all in with The Mandalorian and it has paid off. Star Wars fans finally have a new Lucasfilm title to support and the fandom is showing up in full force… laser blasters at the ready!
A company called Parrot Analytics measures “demand expressions,” a standardized TV-demand measurement unit. This metric considers engagement in addition to viewership in its sum total.
According to Parrot Analytics, The Mandalorian toppled Stranger Things last week on the top streaming shows list. Netflix’s Stranger Things has sat comfortably in the number one position for 21 straight weeks.
“The Mandalorian” had over 100 million demand expressions during the week of November 17 to November 23, according to Parrot Analytics, while “Stranger Things” had 81 million.

In addition to record breaking streaming numbers, the series is being well received across the board. The Mandalorian has a Rotten Tomatoes critic score of 90%.
The Mandalorian can been viewed on the new Disney+ streaming service. New episodes are released every Friday.
