One of the major new characters we got to meet this season on Supergirl was DC Comics’ own Manchester Black, played by David Ajala. In the latest episode, we saw Manchester going up against Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer), and while he was somewhat victorious, it came with a price for him. While we have most certainly not seen the last of Manchester, if you’re a fan of The Elite, the anti-heroes group he is part of, then you will be happy about this piece of news.

Another member from The Elite is being cast for the second half of the season, starting with episode 13 of this season. The DC character that is coming to Supergirl is none other than Rampotatek a.k.a. The Hat! The casting department is currently looking for an Asian male in his 20s-40s, preferably with a British accent of any region. The character is described as being an old pal of Manchester. The Hat has charm, is quick with his wits and has a major love for alcohol and violence. The description requests that the actor has good physicality and that if you are able to do tricks with a bowler hat, it’s a bonus. Whoever lands the role will be a recurring guest star.

This will be the third member of the Elite to join the CW drama as Jessica Meraz (Major Crimes) was recently cast as the character of Pamela Ferrer a.k.a. Menagerie. With Menagerie and now the Hat coming to National City, it wouldn’t shock us if other members like Vera Black and Coldcast are on their way too. But that’s just speculation on our part. Other DC Comics characters that we know are coming in Season 4 is Superman’s biggest enemy: Lex Luthor, who will be played by Two and A Half Men star Jon Cryer, starting with episode 15 and will recur throughout the season.

Supergirl

The Elite has only appeared in media once which was in the DC original animated film Superman Vs. The Elite back in 2012. Since and before then, they have never appeared in any other live-action or animated properties. So if you’re a big fan of The Elite, look forward to that gang coming to life later this season!
