Was Obi-Wan able to commune with Qui-Gon Jinn?

In one of the final scenes of Revenge of the Sith, Yoda tells Obi-Wan he has more training for him. That training was to learn to commune with Kenobi’s former master, Qui-Gon Jinn. We obviously know that Obi-Wan did learn how to communicate through the Force, He did so following his death, with Luke, in each of the original trilogy films. Will we see it in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series?

Perhaps we might even get a voice cameo from Liam Neeson. Communicating through the Force became an essential character trait for Kenobi; here’s hoping we get to learn how he honed that skill.

Will we see a young Luke Skywalker?

Luke Skywalker will only be around 6-9 years old during the time of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. We know from the Star Wars comic books that Obi-Wan would often intervene to keep the Lars homestead, and Luke, safe.

As the story will take place during that period of protection, you’d think we’d necessarily have to see a young Luke, and perhaps Owen and Beru Lars, as well. Will Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse reprise their respective roles?

Will we see other legacy characters in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series?

Fending of Tusken Raiders may be good enough for one episode, but that can’t carry a series. No, for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series to succeed it’s going to need a lot more substance. Tatooine is an Outer Rim planet, pocked with wretched hives of scum and villainy. If inquisitors don’t come calling, will bounty hunters? Boba Fett may not be getting his own series, but…. Is it possible we’ll see him in this?

He did do work for Jabba the Hutt, after all. Along those lines: will we perhaps see a Han Solo cameo too? Han and Chewbacca were off to Tatooine at the conclusion of Solo….
