Universal Studios Hollywood is hosting an unprecedented event this fall. The event called “Running Universal” is going to be a series of 1K, 5K, and 10K races throughout the Backlot and Citywalk. On November 16th and the 17th, people will be able to run with dinos in the Jurassic World Run. The 1K Kids’ Raptor Run and the 5K will be on Saturday. The all-new 10K will be on Sunday.

This isn’t just for fitness buffs and experienced runners though. Anyone can enter and go at their own pace. The 1K is for children ages 4 to 12. The 5K is for ages 5 and older. Everyone competing will receive a Finisher medal. Even better for those who finish the 5K or the 10K will get an exclusive Challenge Medal. The finish line to the Jurassic World run is at CityWalk where there will be a celebration for all who finish.

As part of the fun, you’ll be running through the areas of the new Jurassic World ride, the historic backlot, and the Jurassic World arches. Participants will have photo-ops along the way with Jurassic Park/World props and various dinos.

The 5K run begins at 6:00am on Saturday, with the Kids 1K following up at 7:30am. The 10K begins Sunday at 5:30am. Register now to lock in your place for this fun and awesome dinosaur experience.
