The 2019 edition of WWE’s Money in the Bank is shaping up to be a great card. Four matches have been confirmed, another all but announced, and two Money in the Bank ladder matches.

Roman Reigns vs. Elias

Roman Reigns vs. Elias at Money in the Bank
Will Roman Walk With Elias?

Two of the newest members of the Smackdown Live roster will collide. “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns took exception to Vince McMahon’s announcement that Elias was the biggest acquisition in the history of Smackdown. Delivering a Superman Punch to the CEO, and attacked Elias. The following week, Shane McMahon and Elias attacked Reigns to set up this match. This will be a first time the two have had a televised one-on-one meeting since 2017. Where Reigns defeated Elias to successfully retain his Intercontinental Championship.

AJ Styles vs. Seth Rollins

The first time one-on-one dream match is finally set to happen at WWE Money in the Bank. AJ Styles competed in a triple threat match against Rey Mysterio and Samoa Joe. Styles then defeated Baron Corbin (the winner of the other triple threat match) to gain this opportunity.

Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans & Charlotte Flair

Becky Two Belts will have her hands full at Money in the Bank. First, she will defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans. Lacey Evans defeated Natalya to earn this championship match. This was her first televised match since her call up from NXT. Besides that, she’s just done a lot of walking up and down the entrance ramp during shows.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair at Money in the Bank
The Battle of Horsewomen Continues

If Becky makes it through Evans, she’ll try to go two for two on the night. As she is also set to face Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The rivalry between these two is well documented, and this should be another great chapter in this story.

Kevin Owens vs. Kofi Kingston

In a match that hasn’t been confirmed yet, but can be safely assumed will be happening after the events of Smackdown Live. Owens returned to the roster to take Kofi’s WWE Championship match away from him. While Owens seemingly came back as a face, it was not for long. With Big E out of action, Owens formed a short partnership with Kofi and Xavier. As “Big O”, he competed with the original members of The New Day. While many expected the turn during their six man tag team match, it happened one week later. This would be a great first test for Kofi’s reign as WWE Champion.

With both of the Money in the Bank ladder match competitors still waiting to be announced this event could rank up there with WWE’s top events when 2019 comes to an end.
