BREAKING: First Official Character Looks for STAR WARS: Episode IX [UPDATED]

The Star Wars: Episode IX panel took place earlier today at Star Wars Celebration. During the panel we were able to get our first, official character looks for the film. (Of course we now know that Episode IX is officially titled Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.) Official Character Looks: Episode IX

Lando Calrissian is back, and from the looks of this photo shown at Celebration, he’s back aboard the Millennium Falcon! Billy Dee Williams turned 82 recently, so don’t expect Lando to have too large a role. Nevertheless, Lando needs only appear on screen to have a Star Wars presence.

Naomie Ackie confirms: her character’s name is Jannah. Here is first official look at the character. Although she was asked, she would not and did not confirm whether Jannah is Lando’s daughter.

Finn is back and looking much more like a Rebel/Resistance fighter than ever before. It’s nice to know that vests will always be fashionable in the galaxy far, far away.

Official Character Looks: Poe More than a Pilot

Poe Dameron looks to have more of a role than just as a hotshot pilot this time around.

Daisey Ridley appears as Rey, with Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, in Episode IX. There’s been no information about Rose’s role in the film… yet.

Joonas Suotamo horses around on set with his infant son. Clearly the towering wookiee doesn’t frighten the youngster.
