99% of these celebs and creators are such great people. The ones that are doing Cons like this are there for the fans and the people and it shows. While you may not get the time, you would like with big names like William Shatner because of lines, they are still taking the time to do all this. The Con definitely keeps them hopping all weekend.
The one negative to meeting your idols is you see them as they are. I had not realized how old some of these actors are. It makes sense when you have enjoyed their products for so long but you never think about it. Out form behind the make-up and camera you see the years so much more clearly. It makes you appreciate them all the more.

It also makes you appreciate the smaller names. The smaller actors, voice actors and creators that do this are so passionate about what they do and love interacting with fans. Being smaller names, they have they time to talk with fans one-on-one and share stories. It really is quite incredible. While all these signatures are not cheap, if you have the chance to go to a Con, go up and meet a couple of your favorite stars. It really is such an amazing experience.
Thank you for including a picture of my niece and her adventure on the stage with Joonas Suotamo. This was her very first convention and that was the highlight for her. It was all she could talk about that weekend. I think the best part for me was her photo op with him on Sunday. When she reached the front of the line, he said “My Chewbacca!” and gave her a hug. He was such a great guest and my niece will remember meeting her hero.
