Star Wars fan excitement continues to build for next month’s Star Wars Celebration. There’s been a tidal wave of information coming at us over the last couple of weeks. That includes announcements of both celebrity appearances and a slew of new panels. On Friday Lucasfilm announced the full and final Celebration panel list at StarWars.com.
The big news, of course, is the Star Wars: Episode IX panel taking place on Friday, April 12. There is an extraordinary level of anticipation surrounding this panel, as we expect that they will announce Episode IX’s title, and provide teaser footage, at the event. Taking place on the main Celebration stage, this is easily the Star Wars Celebration panel that will attract the most fans.
The other Celebration panel expected to draw large crowds is that for The Mandalorian, featuring Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. That will take place on Sunday, April 14. If you want to see either the Star Wars: Episode IX or The Mandalorian panel, however, you’re going to need a little bit of luck. Tickets for each of these events, and pretty much any other Celebration panel on the main stage, are only available by lottery.

While those two are obviously the main attractions, there is many a Celebration panel to entice fans in attendance. Fans patient enough to wait until Monday will get to see a 20th anniversary Phantom Menace panel on the Star Wars Galaxy stage. Likewise, if you’re a fan of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Alan Tudyk (K-2SO) will appear on Sunday the 14th as well. You can see the full Celebration panel schedule HERE.
All in all this year’s Star Wars Celebration is shaping up to be quite the spectacle. 2019 is going to be a huge year for Star Wars, and the Celebration panel list is certainly indicative of that.
