A week before the 300th episode of Supernatural is set to air, the show has been renewed for season 15.

During the Television Critics Association Press Tour, the show was just 1 of 10 shows revealed to have been green lit for another season. Mark Pedowitz, the president of The CW said in a statement that:

This season, we expanded our primetime schedule to six nights with the addition of Sunday — which has been an unqualified success for the network, our affiliates and our advertisers. In addition to growing our schedule across the week, we also continue to add more year-round programming. The early renewal of these signature CW series gives us a head start on laying out the 2019-2020 season, and this is just the beginning. These shows provide a strong foundation for our multiplatform programming strategy, and we look forward to building on this with even more returning and new shows as we approach the May upfront.

And us fans know that season, we’ve seen Dean possessed by Michael, and everything that has happened as a result of that since the end of season 13.

And we are getting John Winchester back next week for the 300th episode, so it will be interesting to see what the show could do next season, including possibility bringing Jeffery Dead Morgan back as John Winchester for the whole season.

But the May upfronts for The CW is coming soon, so we shall see what happens then.
