According to an article over at WrestlingNews.co, rumors of that Tony Khan/The Elite/Chris Jericho/Jim Ross wrestling promotion might be a little more set in stone as of last week.

“The following trademarks were filed within the last week by All Elite Wrestling, LLC:

– AEW Double Or Nothing
– AEW All Out
– AEW
– Tuesday Night Dynamite
– ALL OUT
– Double Or Nothing
– All Elite Wrestling”

These rumors have been going around for a little over a month but with All Elite Wrestling, LLC being based out of Jacksonville, FL it just adds more fuel to the fire.  Tony Khan is the co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and All ELITE Wrestling.  So, you could see why the internet is a buzz about these most recent developments.  With the backing of a NFL owner and with the rumor of the involvement of Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes, Marty Scurll, Hangman Page AND Kenny Omega…this has the makings of something huge.  If it’s true.

Now, yesterday I posted about AJ Styles trying to negotiate a new deal with WWE.  With these latest rumors, I could see AJ making the jump to this new promotion.  He would bring, somehow, even more star power to the already rumored roster this promotion would have.  They would certainly have the money to make a decent offer to him.  We will most likely have to wait until the beginning of 2019 (That’s when all of The Elite’s contracts are up with NJPW) to find out if wrestling is going to somehow be crazier than 2018.
