Filming on Hulu’s Veronica Mars revival is underway and while details about the series have been hard to come by, we’ve discovered that one fan favorite character is back: Max Greenfield, who played Deputy Leo D’Amato, is set to bring the character back to Neptune!

Greenfield, who got his start on the original series, has been seen on New Girl, The Neighborhood and has a recurring role as the voice of Boo-Boo on Bob’s Burgers. Greenfield joins a slew of other starts from the original series who have also returned to reprise their roles. Kristen Bell, Ryan Hansen, Jason Dohring, Percy Daggs III, David Starzyk, Francis Capra and Enrico Colatoni have all signed on to the first season, which will see Veronica investigate a season-long mystery. Patton Oswalt will join the cast as Harvey Moon, a talkative pizza delivery guy you first read about here.
