These Are The Characters We’d Like To See In The Mandalorian

Unless you have been living under a rock, you’re aware of the news that Jon Favreau’s new Star Wars show is called The Mandalorian. We know that the timeline sets the show seven years after the events in Return of the Jedi, and before The Force Awakens. Aside from the title character, who will be in The Mandalorian? I don’t know about you, but here are the characters I’d like to see in The Mandalorian:

Bounty Hunters be in The Mandalorian?:

I’d love to see the Trandoshan Bossk. Introduced in The Empire Strikes Back, Bossk was last seen in The Clone Wars, and last referenced in Solo. His inclusion would go a long way to establish continuity.

Dengar. He’s a bounty hunter originally from Corellia. He, too, was last seen in The Clone Wars. Seeing as his home planet was featured prominently in Solo, I think it would be logical to see him at some point in the series.

It’s safe to say that any iteration of IG-88 would be welcomed. His story, and the stories of his other versions, was engaging reading in the (now defunct canon) novel “Tales of the Bounty Hunters.”

4-LOM and Zuckuss: the insectoid protocol droid-turned bounty hunter, and his Gand Findsman partner. Outside of a few appearances, both canon and non, it would be interesting to see the dynamic of these two and how they approach the greater galaxy.

Peripheral Characters

Lobot! Part, um… lobe, part robot! This cyborg-enhanced colleague of Lando Calrissian was once under the employ of the Empire. However he switched allegiances and helped Calrissian after the occupation of Bespin. It would be interesting to see what he’s putting his considerable brain towards now.

Nien Nunb. Dude was an arms smuggler, and participated in both the second Death Star battle, as well as surviving the attack at Starkiller Base and the Battle of Crait. He’s like Forrest Gump, only packing more weaponry.

Who was Lor San Tekka before we met him on Jakku? How did he come to acquire part of the map to Luke Skywalker?

Wedge Antilles. C’mon, it’s Wedge. Plus, I want to know why “Antilles” seems to be the galactic equivalent of “Jones” or “Smith.”

And finally…

Ok, maybe not Jaxxon.
