STAR WARS: Darth Maul And Boba Fett Together On The Big Screen?

Boba Fett and Darth Maul.

Darth Maul and Boba Fett together on the big screen? As of now Lucasfilm and Disney have not announced any plans. But if Ray Park had his way, we would see it happen. At the end of Solo: A Star Wars Story we got a brief glimpse of Park reprising his role as Maul. Now Maul fans want more and why not team him up with the famous bounty hunter Boba Fett.

In a recent interview with Ray Park he talked about how he would like to see the Maul story-line continue. Not only that he would love to see it continue with actor Daniel Logan as Boba Fett. Logan played a young Boba Fett in the Star Wars: prequels. This is what Park had to say about Maul and Fett together in an interview with the Nerdist.

“I hope so. It would be cool. For many years, when Daniel was coming over before Solo, I said, you never know, one day they may do something. Daniel is one of these guys who’s Mr. Natural. He doesn’t actually have to work at doing anything, he can just do it. So with some work, he could be unbelievable.”

Will we get more movies?

So, judging by the box office sales most of you are waiting to see Solo: A Star Wars Story when it comes out on Blu-ray next week. For those that have seen it were very surprised when Maul made his cameo in the Solo movie. Not only did we get reintroduced to Maul, we now know he was a part of the bigger picture. Possibly as the leader of the Crimson Dawn. Also knowing that Han Solo is heading to Tatoonie to meet up with a big-time gangster who we all presume is JabbaThe Hutt, this would be a great way to bring Boba Fett into the next movie.

With Maul leading the Crimson Dawn it would make sense for him to hire Boba Fett. Fett being one of the best bounty hunters in the galaxy would be the perfect villain to assist Maul in quest for power and revenge. We could also learn how Boba Fett joined Jabba’s crew and why they were hunting Solo. Maybe we will learn what cargo Han dumped when he ran into that Imperial Starship Jabba talked about.

Of course, right now this is all hopes and dreams. After Solo’s performance at the box office it seems that Disney is in no hurry to put out any new films. With all the reshoots the budget for Solo nearly doubled and with the movie bringing in less than $400 million, pretty much ended any hope of a new standalone movie anytime soon.
