Brett Cullen Has Been Cast As Thomas Wayne In Joaquin Phoenix’s THE JOKER Film

Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker Film has found their Thomas Wayne.

Brett Cullen, best known for playing Barton Blaze in Ghost Rider, will be stepping into the role Thomas Wayne, as confirmed by Comicbook.com. Cullen is taking the park of Thomas Wayne from Alec Baldwin, who has to drop out of the film due to a scheduling conflict.

This DC Comics film is not the first time Cullen is working with Warner Bros. He was in The Dark Knight Rises as a congressman. Some other notable roles he did include Person Of Interest, The Replacements, and ABC’s LOST, playing Goodwin Stanhope.

Now, this version of Thomas Wayne will be a different version of the character then the fans are used to. This version is not aiming for fan-favoritism. Cullen’s version is expected to be a little less friendly. His character will also be playing a part in The Joker’s origin story in one way or another.

This new is coming less than 24 hours after it was announced that the Joker’s official name would be Arthur Fleck.
