Solo: A Star Wars Story began its life anew this past Friday with its digital release. After watching it again, I have a feeling it’s going to have a long and prosperous life on the cinematic aftermarket. Despite calls for boycotts, a director debacle and managerial mishaps, the film nevertheless achieved its goal. It provided a fun, adventurous telling of Han Solo’s backstory. To commemorate the digital release, writer Jon Kasdan tweeted out a series of behind the scenes details.

Jon Kasdan, son of legendary Star Wars writer Lawrence Kasdan, followed in his father’s footsteps with his work on Solo.
