D23 Coming To Anaheim In 2019!

Conventions, conventions, conventions! We’re hoping you don’t have fatigue, because the Cons just keep coming! Earlier this summer, Disney has announced that dates for their bi-annual convention, D23 Expo! Coming to the Anaheim Convention Center, the D23 Expo will return August 23rd- 25th, 2019.

2019 marks the Expo’s sixth outing, but the 10th anniversary – making it one not to be missed! Not unlike previous events, the 2019 showcase will feature over 50 panels, immersive experiences, photo ops, shopping, and special opportunities to celebrate the past, present, and future of Disney. Not to mention the Disney celebrity presence – including a daily parade, costume contest, new Walt Disney Archives-curated exhibit, and more. D23 Expo 2019 will also feature the Disney Legends Ceremony, which honors a variety people who’ve been major contributors to the legacy of Disney.

D23 2017 included a variety of panels covering upcoming Disney films from Star Wars: The Last Jedi to Avengers: Infinity War, and Disney’s upcoming The Lion King movie. While programming specifics of D23 2019 have not been announced, we can assume Aladdin, Dumbo, Toy Story 4, and Avengers 4 will be all be represented having early 2019 release dates. I think it’s fair to guess that Jungle Cruise, Frozen 2, Star Wars: Episode 9, Mulan, and Maleficent 2 will also have a presence – as they’re all slated for release in 2019 after the Expo.

There are also 2 untitled live action films, 2 untitled animated films, an untitled Marvel film, and an untitled Indiana Jone sequel with 2020-2021 release dates that could hopefully be revealed during D23 2019! Fingers crossed!

Tickets for D23 Expo 2019 will go on sale at D23expo.com beginning August 23, 2018, with special pricing and packages available to D23 Gold Members. For everyone else, ticket prices will be announced later this summer.

Personally, I cannot WAIT for D23 2019! Will you be there? I know we will be!
