You know you are at the top of your game when you get that oh so coveted spot in Hall H, and as one of the only major studios to make an appearance at this year’s Comic Con, Universal brought over Halloween, and Glass. While both films received a warm, and enthusiastic reception, it was the latter film that had everyone on the edge of their seats since we haven’t seen ANY footage or trailers from the film. However, director M. Night Shyamalan was waiting for his very special moment in Hall H to unveil the trailer;

…we had the opportunity to put the trailer on some of the biggest Marvel movies that exists and we made a decision, I felt very strongly that you guys should be the one that sees this first…

The trailer was absolutely fantastic. Every actor is giving it their all, with Sam Jackson not looking a day older than when he portrayed the character back in 2000. And if James McAvoy isn’t nominated for an Oscar in 2020 (unless Glass premieres in the festival circuit in the Fall it won’t qualify for 2019) then we’ll know that someone has it out for him. Unfortunately, the charismatic actor is sick and wasn’t able to get on a plane from Toronto where he is shooting the sequel to 2017’s It. However, that didn’t stop Shyamalan from gushing over the star citing him as a “Robin Williams” type of actor, and cited meeting and casting the actor at SDCC 2015  as one of his favorite Comic Con moments ever. As of his current editing pass, McAvoy apparently displays 21 of his character’s personalities!

Apparently I wasn’t the only one wishing it was January 2019;

The official trailer for Glass should be released to the public by the end of the weekend and we hope that you’ll be hyped as we are. Make sure you are subscribed to our youtube channel and the newly formed podcast on Itunes! We’ll be uploading audio from the panel within the next day.
