The Rugrats Are Coming Back For 26 All-New Episodes And An All-New Movie!

Grab your screwdrivers Babies, and get ready for the return of the Rugrats! Not only will the show returned, but Paramount Pictures is making a half live-action, half CGI movie possibly releasing November 13, 2020!

Since the show ended, 12 years ago, Rugrats has become a cult classic through syndication and Hulu, and has gained a new generation of fans. This next step will continue the tradition alongside Thundercats, She-Ra, Power Puff Girls, etc. bringing new baby adventures to an all-new generation.

The Wrap is reporting that production has begun and Arlene Klasky, Gábor Csupó, and Paul Germain, who all created the original 1990’s show, are coming back as the EPs for the new series. It currently is unknown if any of the original voice actors are coming back and reprising their roles on the new rebooted series.

Paramount Players President, Brian Robbins, provided a statement to EW

“…kids who grew up with Tommy Pickles and the Rugrats crew will now be able to share that experience with their own children.”
