It’s summertime, and along with lemonade, and short shorts always comes horror movie trailers that are set for release in the fall! Among these trailers, is the much anticipated remake of Dario Argento’s Suspiria.
Suspiria is the story of a young American dancer, an artistic director, and a grieving psychotherapist’s entanglements with a prestigious foreign dance company. This remake is helmed by Luca Guadagnino, who directed the film adaptation of Call Me by Your Name to critical acclaim. It reunites him with long time collaborator Tilda Swinton (Dr. Strange), and also features Dakota Johnson (50 Shades of Grey), and horror film fave Chloë Grace Moretz (Carrie). Check out the trailer below.
TheSuspiria trailer is heavy on music, sound effects, and visual details, but gives nothing about the plot away; which is, in my opinion, the best kind of trailer there is. This new version of Suspiria is sure to bring the creeps and scares when it hits theaters on November 2nd.
