Trent Opaloch who has been a cinematographer for many of the films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe has seemingly revealed what the title of the highly anticipated Avengers 4 is going to be. Be sure to take this with a grain of salt as there is reason to believe that this title is simply a placeholder name.
Trent who was the cinematographer for films such as The Winter Soldier, Civil War and the previous Avengers film: Infinity War, has potentially leaked that the title of Avengers 4 to be Avengers: End Game. This has been a popular theory among fans ever since the release of Avengers: Infinity War as Doctor Strange had a line of dialogue where he explains to Tony Stark that “We are in the end game now”, and this led many of us to think that the title of the film could be picked from that very line.
Now be sure to take this with a grain of salt as this is likely to be a placeholder name, at least for now, as it is perfectly plausible that Trent Opaloch himself doesn’t know what the title of the movie is. We all know the lengths that Marvel Studio’s goes to in order to keep secrets about their movies so it would not be illogical to think that this is the title he was told, even though the title may end up being something entirely different.
It’s also important to point out that the Russo Brothers themselves (directors or Infinity War and Avengers 4) have publicly debunked the title of Avengers: End Game. However they are also currently trying to tell audiences that all of the characters who turned to dust at the end of Infinity War will not be coming back, which is extremely difficult to believe when a character like Spider-Man has his next movie releasing next year immediately after Avengers 4. So in order to avoid spoilers, the Russo’s could simply be denying the title because they don’t want to reveal it, so even is End Game turns out to be the title of the movie, it’s not like the Russo’s would confirm it now.
There is also a chance that this could be Trent having some fun with fans by teasing stuff and supposedly “spoiling” stuff however this seems unlikely that this would be the case. So it’s best to not believe anything you hear regarding Avengers 4 until it comes straight from the horses mouth and we see it for ourselves. MCU president Kevin Feige recently revealed that we will not be finding out the title of Avengers 4 until the first Captain Marvel teaser has been released which means we may be finding out within the next couple of months anyway.
