Nintendo’s Super Mario Odyssey Has A New Feature… PORN!!!!

The crazy popular, family friendly, Super Mario Odyssey has been infiltrated with Nintendo’s most feared enemy, nudie pics!!! Polygon reports that “hackers” have begun using a software called DevMenu to create custom avatar images for the Switch, which normally only allows you to choose between a few kid-friendly Nintendo themed avatars. These deviant, dirty minded, hooligans are exploiting this option and uploading XXX images as their avatars.

These dirty tricks have been causing the most chaos in the DLC mini-game called “Luigi’s Balloon World”, where players can hide their own balloons throughout the game. If innocent kids find the balloon, the avatar image of the person who hid the object appears on the balloon itself. But if the guilty gamer who hid the balloon has a scandalous pic for an avatar, than that naughty NSFW image appears for all to see, as the player who found it gets some smut for their trouble.

A dad on Reddit discovered this and posted a warning to parents, along with a link to what he found. He suggests disabling the Switch’s internet access in order to protect children and people who wish to remain pure and porn free.

In all seriousness, this could easily become an issue as the popularity of the game itself is staggering, as of January 2018, Super Mario Odyssey sold over 9 million copies. And while there are a lot of adult players who can laugh off this kind of thing, the game has many underage fans whose families might not be too happy about this unauthorized pornographic invasion.

This isn’t the first time Nintendo’s games have been “infected” with dirty, dirty imagery. In the 1995 kid’s game Kirby’s Dream Land 2, a blocky outline of a woman’s privates was snuck into secret level 5-5.

Even Mario himself was apart of a nude scandal as in 1988 when a Nintendo sanctioned Super Mario manga showed off Mario’s manhood.

In fact, Nintendo started out as a playing card company that, at one time in their pornographic past, made adult, “Nude Cards” and even going further to buy up and a few “Love Hotels” in the 1960’s where guests could book rooms by the hour. These hotels even offered a discount if you brought your own prostitute… er… escort.

Normally, Nintendo has gone to great lengths to censure American releases for sex related imagery in order to hide their sordid past. When Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse was released for the NES back in 1989, Nintendo removed even hinted, pixelated breasts out of the Japanese and European versions of the game before it came to the USA.

It isn’t clear what steps Nintendo will take to fix the problem with the switch’s avatar hack, but the company has always been quick to react before to defend it’s family-friendly image… until the next porn pic pops up. Kyle Emanuel Authentic Jersey
