The recent run of Marvel Comic’s Star Wars Comic Book is continuing to hit the ball out of the park. Currently, the Darth Vader run is heating up, and the main Star Wars comic is getting to the good stuff.
Now, Sith Lords are a major part of Star Wars comics, not just with Darth Vader and Darth Sith. And in the most recent Star Wars Annual, which was Issue #4, an ancient Sith from times past is mentioned in the story, and it now makes this particular Sith apart of the Star Wars canon now.
And before you get ahead of yourselves, no it’s not Darth Revan, but it is a new Sith by the name of Darth Atrius. And, he has yet to appear in the story officially, but his name and legacy does live on through Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader’s arc in the Marvel Comics Star Wars run.
Even though this is a small list, here are the current Siths that are officially part of the Star Wars Cannon:
- Darth Atrius
- Darth Bane
- Darth Plagueius
- Darth Sidious (Emperor Palpatine)
- Darth Maul
- Darth Tyranus (Count Dooku)
- Darth Vader (formerly Anakin Skywalker)
Darth Revan was almost going to be added into the Star Wars Cannon timeline during the Mortis arc of the Clone Wars, but it was scrapped on the cutting room floor. I’m hoping Darth Revan can get added to a movie in the coming years, but only time will tell.
