Tokyo Disney has announced another new expansion plan! Yep that’s right, in addition to the ongoing development of the park, which includes a “Beauty And The Beast” themed port and a new “Big Hero 6” ride, the resort is also going to be expanding Tokyo DisneySea in 2022. This expansion will include an all-new port (the 8th port getting added to the park) themed after the Disney films “Frozen”, “Tangled”, and “Peter Pan.”
Not only that, a new deluxe resort hotel with a one-of-a-kind luxury wing will be connected to the port! Check out the images below!
For the “Frozen” port, guests will be able to visit the kingdom of Arendelle after the events of the first film allowing the gates opened for visitors. Inside the Castle, will be a brand new restaurant for guests to enjoy. The port will also include an all-new, heartwarming attraction that will take guests by boat on an adventure through Anna and Elsa’s story, and will include the music from the movie.
In the “Tangled” area, Rapunzel’s tower awaits in the charming forest. Here, guests will be able to board gondolas to enjoy Rapunzel’s “best day ever,” as she journeys with Flynn Rider to see the lantern festival. This area will also include a restaurant inspired by the Viking hideout from the film.
Off to Neverland! Captain Hook’s ship, and Skull Rock will be coming to life in the new “Peter Pan” area. Guests will be able to enjoy 2 new attractions, and a restaurant themed after the Lost Boys hideout. Guests will be flying over the jungles of Neverland with Peter Pan to help rescue Wendy’s younger brother John, in a battle with Captain Hook, as well as, immersing guests in the world of Pixie Hollow where Tinker Bell and her fairy friends live.
Will these new port areas, Tokyo Disney can expect bigger crowds and they will be ahead of the game. An all-new, deluxe resort will also be opening inside Tokyo Disneysea as part of the latest expansion plan. This resort will follow the Disney fantasy theme rising above and around the magical springs of the new port. It will be featuring 475 deluxe and luxury guests rooms, 2 restaurants, and a merchandise shop.
I’m so excited to see what these new changes will look like once the expansion ends. And I want to hear what you guys think about these new changes, so leave me a comment below.
