Eureka!!! Word just broke that after the Shattered Grid series ends that Kyle Higgins will no longer be the writer for the Power Rangers comic book series by BOOM! Studios. Apparently there will be a switch-up in the tone of the beloved series that has increased the Power Rangers fandom to a new
plateau. With a switch-up in the tone a new writer is needed to see that vision out. Writer Marguerite Bennett and artist Simone Di Meo will be
spearheading the series starting with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #31. In a recent interview, Bennett stated that she is elated to take over the series and she knows that she has some big shows to fill coming behind Kyle Higgins.
Now, let’s get to some real business here. With Kyle Higgins no longer writing the series I know I along with numerous amounts of readers are skeptical as to what will happen next. We have been blessed to go inside the mind of Higgins’ style of
writing and it begs the question will the series lose ground with a different style in writing. The only thing that brings a glimmer of hope is the thought of a new tone in the series. I would guess that after all of the doom and gloom that the series would take a more lighter tone still with some types of consequences along the way.
What are your thoughts on the change in writers? Good? Bad? Or are you just like me and if its Power Rangers you do not care! Andrew Miller Womens Jersey
