Let’s Make Some Educated Guesses on The New Game of Thrones Prequel Plots

It was announced today that HBO has green-lit a prequel series got Game of Thrones and here is what we know…

“Taking place thousands of years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series chronicles the world’s descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. And only one thing is for sure: from the horrifying secrets of Westeros’s history to the true origin of the white walkers, the mysteries of the East, to the Starks of legend … it’s not the story we think we know.”

So, the important part here is the “descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour.” For those not addicted to the holy scripture of Mr. George R.R. Martin, The Age of Heroes took place around 10,000 years before our current Kalisi,

Queen Daenerys I Targaryen Khaleesi ws even born. So far back, that Westros wasn’t even called Westros back than. We’ve seen it a few times in Bran’s flashbacks/wargings with the the First Men, the Children of the Forest, and, of course, the White Walkers. This eria is most know for a very very famous historical event in Westeros’ past… the Long Night.

The Long Night was the first time the White Walkers… er walked?! It was a winter that lasted an entre generation, thousands of people starved and yet, still rose to fight the Whit Walkers in and War for the Dawn along side the Children of The Forest. The Wall was built (yeah, that wall) and the knights watch was created (squeee!!!).

I think it’s a safe bet that the prequel will lead into this part of the Age of Heroes as it’s the most interesting and the most relatable to the current series. There are a lot of good stories that came from this period, but more importantly, good characters@ Especially, those characters who are the decedents of some of our fav characters now. Let’s check out some future heart throbs and killers.

Bran the Builder… sound familiar?! He’s the guy who built the wall and the namesake of our paralyzed time warging Bran in GOT.

Lann the Clever, you see where this is going, right, he conned House Casterly out of Casterly Rock and his bloodine would eventually become House Lannister. O yeah, he was 300 years old had a hundred kids.

The Falcon Knight, a badass who established house Arryn and the Vale.

The first ruler of the Ironborn, The Grey King. He killed a dravon, married a mermaid, and lived to be over 1000. No good stories here.

So, as you can see, there is plenty to draw on. If I was a betting man, and I am. My guess is they all war at eachother, than team up to fight the white walkers… any takers? John Hannah Authentic Jersey
