Power Rangers Legacy Wars: Capcom’s Street Fighter Is Now Live And Active In The Game

The Power Rangers have teamed up with the Ninja Turtles during Power Rangers In Space, and DC’s Justice League in the little BOOM Studios miniseries, so this update to the Legacy Wars game is beyond amazing. If you’re a fan of Capcom’s popular fighting game Street Fighter, then you will be excited about this update. There will be four characters from the game-Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile, and Akuma. This is probably the biggest update that has come to the game. You can check out the trailer below for the update to see what the gameplay is going to be like.

“The collaboration between Power Rangers and Street Fighter feels like a dream to me. The Rangers series that I also grew up watching as a kid have crossed overseas, became Power Rangers, and is now well received by all ages. I can’t contain my excitement just thinking about the idea of our Street Fighter characters moving about in that world.” – Yoshinori Ono, Capcom Executive Producer has said about the collaboration.

You can check out the player profiles down below, along with descriptions for each character.

Ryu

“Ryu is a fighter. He continues his training in search of true strength. He is very polite and sincere. He travels the world, seeking opponents who can give him a challenge. He is also working to control the Satsui no Hado that resides within him. He seeks not to suppress it, but rather accept it.

Ryu will be a part of the game’s Balanced class, with Common rarity. His moveset will consist of a Hadoken, Jodan Sanrengeki, Shoryuken, and Sokuto.”

Chun-Li

“Chun-Li is an Interpol office best known for her kicks. She became a detective at the age of 18 to search for her missing father. Upon learning that Shadaloo was involved with her father’s disappearance, she vowed to bring down the criminal organization. She is unforgiving towards acts of evil, but treasures her friendships with others.

Chun-Li will be a part of the game’s Balanced class, with Epic rarity. Her moveset will consist of a Spinning Bird Kick, Tsuitotsuken, Hyakuretsu, and Kikoken.”

Guile

“Though calm and collected on the outside, Guile is a hot-blooded guy. He’s cool in both looks and speech, and is a hard-boiled character. He fights for American peace. He has vowed to take down Shadaloo, not only for being an evil organization that threatens world peace, but also for revenge for his best friend Nash. Guile prefers to solve his own problems by himself.

Guile will be a part of the game’s Defender class, with Rare rarity. His moveset will consist of a Somersault Kick, Bullet Revolver, Sonic Blade, and Sonic Boom.”

Akuma

“Akuma has defeated numerous fighters since surrendering his will to the Satsui no Hadou. The Satsui no Hadou has tempered his body and granted him superhuman strength. He has no intention of abandoning his path of violence, even going as far as defeating his own brother Gouken. He desires only to find an opponent who can give him the ultimate fight to the death.

Akuma will be a part of the game’s Attacker class, with Legendary rarity. His moveset will consist of a Gohadoken, Kongoken Combo, Goshoryuken, and Zanku Hadoken.”

Additional Street Fighter characters, including Cammy and M. Bison, will be released in the game on June 1st.

“This incredible Street Fighter and Power Rangers crossover shows how the competitive mobile gaming scene is thriving and attracting massive confidence from legendary video game companies and their passionate fanbases. Seeing Street Fighter characters duking it out with Power Rangers is truly new and magical. It’s never been done before and now we are making it happen in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, proving the rising trend of competitive mobile gaming in the West.” – Taehoon Kim, nWay CEO.
