If you’ve never heard of Bethesda’s fps titled RAGE, it’s a video game set in a post-apocalyptic near future following the impact of the asteroid 99942 Apophis on Earth that released in 2011. It has been described as similar to their other title, Fallout. A sequel was awaited but not expected at the upcoming conference E3, which is just around the corner. However, it’s possible that an unconfirmed listing on Walmart Canada’s website may have leaked the upcoming sequel along with many other titles.
Although many believe that the listing is a hoax, it seems like Bethesda’s response all but confirms the sequel. The official RAGE account tweeted out a screencap with the quote “Hey @WalmartCanada here are a few notes.” The official Bethesda account replied to this tweet with a simple “Dude” while the Bethesda Marketing SVP Pete Hines retweeted it saying “This is why we can’t have nice things”.

Of course, this isn’t actually confirmation for RAGE 2 but we won’t have to wait too long to find out before Bethesda’s E3 press conference on June 10th at 6:30 pm PT/9:30 pm ET
