Tremors Pilot Dropped by SyFy

In an announcement by Kevin Bacon via instagram. It seems the Tremors Pilot sadly will NOT be picked up by SyFy.

“Sad to report that my dream of revisiting the world of Perfection will not become a reality. Although we made a fantastic pilot (IMHO) the network has decided not to move forward. Thanks to our killer cast and everyone behind the scenes who worked so hard. And always keep one eye out for GRABOIDS!”

The show was to take place 25 years after Perfection, Nevada had been first attacked by Graboids. An excited Kevin Bacon was to reprise his role as Valentine McKee and would be taking on these sandworms once again, but this time older, wiser, with a wicked hero complex, and alcoholism.

Not only was this decision by SyFy a surprise to Kevin, but director, Vincenzo Natali,  was baffled.

And Tremor’s Pilot Writer, Andrew Miller, has also taken to social media to share his feelings on the decision as well.

There’s no word if the series will be picked up by another network or not, but it’s possibly that the dream of Perfection isn’t over yet.

What Network would you like to see pick up the Tremors series? Do you think this show was sandworm food before it even started? Make sure to comment below and let me know!
