DC’s TITANS Series Reportedly Finds Its Wonder Girl In Conor Leslie

A few months ago, we at That Hashtag Show broke an exclusive casting breakdown for DC’s Titans that was hinting at an iconic member joining the streaming series. The breakdown was hinting at Donna Troy a.k.a. DC Comics’ first Wonder Girl who would supposedly be a recurring guest star in Season 1.

It appears that our theories were right as Warner Bros. have reportedly found its Donna! Conor Leslie has, according to Heroic Hollywood, been tapped to bring the iconic young Amazon to life on the Greg Berlanti drama for the DC streaming series. It began with a set video that came out from Instagram user madgrahambino, first reported by TitansTV.net which is where the Donna Troy rumors began, where Leslie was shooting a scene with Dick Grayson himself, Brenton Thwaites.

While the video is short, we do hear Leslie’s character utter “Oh I missed you, Boy Wonder”, indicating that these two have a past. Thanks to the confirmation, we now know that this scene features Dick running into Donna again. No details were revealed about the show’s version of Titans, but thanks to our breakdown, we know at least a few details about Donna, whose codename was “Ruth Gibbs” when the initial story broke.

“Female, 20s, Caucasian or Latina or Middle Eastern, or ethnically ambiguous. Confident and kick ass. Educated. RECURRING GUEST STAR THIS SEASON WITH AN OPTION FOR SERIES REGULAR NEXT SEASON.”

Depending on how the first season plays out, Leslie could potentially star as a full-time cast member in a Titans Season 2! The 27-year-old actress is best known for her work on Man In The High Castle, Shots Fired and Graves. While we don’t know what episode this video is from, it would appear that it’s from one of the final episodes of Season 1 as production is set to wrap in the next two-three weeks.

It remains to be seen which version of Donna we’ll be seeing here. But knowing that DC Entertainment President Geoff Johns is involved with the series, we know that Donna’s live-action debut will be absolutely wonderful. Could we potentially see Diana Prince a.k.a Wonder Woman down the line in the series? Only time will tell.

Titans Season 1 is set to debut sometime this year on DC’s streaming service. Are you excited about Wonder Girl joining the series? Sound off in the comments below and stay tuned here at That Hashtag Show for everything trending in geek pop culture!
