This week has been INSANE in the world of Star Wars. First, we finally got our official first look of the new stand-alone film Solo: A Star Wars Story, then it was announced that Game of Thrones showrunners D.B. Weiss and Damon Benioff was going to create new original Star Wars films in the years to come.
I’m on STAR WARS overload! Well, today The Star Wars Show released their latest episode and it doesn’t disappoint. They gave us a better look at the all-new Millennium Falcon, a 360 view! After now watching the SOLO teaser around forty times, the coolest thing about besides Lando, of course, would have to be the shiny new Millennium Falcon. You see the pearly white new interior?? And it has a flat antenna!
On the episode hosts Anthony Carboni and Andi Gutierrez share details about the Falcon that will be in the film. “The version of the Falcon we see in the teaser is actually the closest we’ve ever seen to what a brand new, or well-taken-care-of version of the Corellian freighter would look (like),” Guitierrez said.
“The design was heavily inspired by early Ralph McQuarrie designs with the sleek, sharp look as well as the radar dish pointing up, the single gun on top, and of course, a slick blue paint job” Carboni added, as an image of the Falcon revolved 360 degrees. God, it looks beautiful. For a better look check out the episode below.
What do you guys think of the Falcon? Do you prefer the brand new cleaner version or the Hunk of Junk we’ve been used to?
