A lot of you hardcore Marvel fans may have already guessed who shows up during the mid-credit scene in Thor: Ragnarok, but just in case you weren’t sure, Kevin Feige has come to the rescue. We are going to get into spoilers so here’s your spoiler warning.
We’re pretty sure that if you’re reading at this point you’ve stayed throughout the third film in the Thor franchise, Thor: Ragnarok, and if you didn’t then you must be living under a rock. During the scene, we saw gigantic spaceship that cast a large shadow over The God of Thunder, Thor and The God of Mischief, his brother Loki as they make their way towards Earth. We know that the next big threat in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Thanos, which we will see in Avengers: Infinity War, and yes that is his ship according to the Marvel President, Kevin Feige. While talking to The Wrap, Feige confirmed that the ship is indeed The Sanctuary II.
You may be wondering what is the Sanctuary I. Well we saw that ship in the asteroid field inhabited by the Chitauri during the events of the first Avengers film. During the Avengers: Infinity War trailer at D23 we show Thor crashing the Milano, the ship of the Guardians Of The Galaxy like a bug on a windshield. Could Thor and the remaining members of Asgard be held captive and does Loki make it out alive? May 4, 2018 can’t come fast enough.
