As most of us have seen they’ve shown a short trailer teasing the four way crossover, this year it will sooner than expected.
The four-way crossover will air across two nights Monday, Nov. 27 and Tuesday, Nov. 28 on The CW. For this crossover event, Arrow will air on a special night Monday at 9 p.m. ET following Supergirl, while the other DC shows will remain in their regularly scheduled time periods during this crossover Barry and Iris will get married.
Earth X happens to be post World War II. Germany has won, and Nazi’s have taken over, almost all major heroes have to fight an evil version of their characters.
Supergirl is fighting a version of herself called Overgirl, Barry is fighting a Tom Cavanagh version of the Reverse Flash (I’m hoping they’ll give us a throwaway explanation as to how) maybe a version of Harrison Wells that became the Reverse Flash instead of being the Eobard Thawne version wearing Harrison Wells’ face.
The reason they call it Earth X is because it doesn’t have a technical designation it’s not like earth 3 or earth 4 or 5 because it’s literally such shit burg everything has gone so badly.
“We conceived this year’s crossover to be evocative of the annual Justice League/Justice Society crossovers we grew up with and looked forward to as kids,” said Executive Producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg. “Phil was the perfect choice to bring the comic book cover iteration of this idea to life. You can count on one hand the number of artists who could compellingly represent so many characters in a single image. Phil is one of them. And his design invokes the cover of JUSTICE LEAGUE #207, which was the 20th Annual JLA/JSA crossover. Our ten-year-old selves are in heaven.”
