EXCLUSIVE: Two New Metahumans are Joining THE FLASH

Here at That Hashtag Show, we love breaking down characters. It might just be our favorite thing to do in the whole world. We’ve brought you lots of news regarding characters that will be coming to some of your favorite shows, and we’re back now with more exclusive reveals of a couple new metahumans that will be making their way to The CW’s The Flash this season. Which characters are we talking about this time? Let’s dive into the breakdowns and figure out who’s who.

The Flash

First up, we have Dominic Lanse:

Male, late 20s – late 30s, African American. A gregarious and good-natured meta-human who has the ability to read minds. His gift becomes a curse when criminal forces capture Dominic and want him to use his powers for evil. Think young Sterling K. Brown type……RECURRING GUEST STAR

In the comics, Dominic Lanse is the villain Brainstorm, who can absorb people’s minds into a sort of hive mind, adding their intelligence to his own and giving him control over his victims. For The Flash, they appear to be mixing up that origin a bit, making Dominic a good guy who is taken prisoner and abused by bad guys.

The Flash

The other character we can reveal is described in the breakdown only as Neil:

Male, 30s – 40s, Open Ethnicity. Neil a blue collar, likable, good guy just trying to make ends meet, but unbeknownst to him, he has radiation emitting meta powers that could cause the whole city to suffer a nuclear, catastrophic explosion. Neil is unaware that he is hurting people. Think Martin Freeman on “The Office”…..PERFORMER MUST BE BALD…..POSSIBLE RECURRING GUEST STAR

This is Neil Borman, or Fallout. In the comics, Borman worked at a nuclear power plant, where an accident altered his DNA, causing his body to emit radioactive particles. Not a bad guy in the comics (he actually turned himself into Iron Heights when he realized what he was), he’s just someone with an unluckily dangerous power set, and it seems that The Flash will be following along those lines with their interpretation of the character, as well.

And that’s what we’ve got for you today, folks. Are you excited to see these characters coming to The Flash? Let us know in the comments. Also, check out our DC TV show, The Watchtower every Thursday night on YouTube!
