EXCLUSIVE: Kree Assassin Sals-Bek Headed to ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ And Possible Crossover With The Inhumans

The fifth season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been filming for a couple of months now and very little has been revealed about the plot of the new season. We know that Coulson’s group were taken captive and ended up in space when season four came to an end, so the expectation has always been that the new season would have a cosmic flavor, especially with it airing after Inhumans completes its first (and possibly only) season. Now have confirmation that not only will we be getting some cosmic connections but that the Kree are headed back to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The studio is looking to cast a stunt actor in the role of Sals-Bek, a little known Kree assassin!

Sals-Bek has only one appearance to his name, in an Atlantis Rising tie-in titled Inhumans: The Great Refuge. In the issue, Bek is among a trio of elite Kree assassins sent to take out the Inhuman Royal family who are currently living in a self-imposed exile on Earth. While we don’t know exactly what Bek’s mission will be, we know that Marvel is searching for a stunt actor to portray an “imposing but lithe assassin” for a 2-episode arc. Given the re-emergence of the Kree on the show and some other tidbits we’ve heard, we wouldn’t be surprised to find out that there is some story overlap between this season of AoS and Inhumans.
