The first two trilogies told the tragic story of Anakin Skywlaker and his fall to Darth Vader.
The Promised One lives on in the final trilogy as the Skywalkers and their allies on both sides remain at the heart of a galaxy far, far away.
After Vader’s dramatic reappearance on screen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, fans will be thrilled to know he features again in The Last Jedi.
New leaks reveal that Darth Vader is involved in scenes featuring Kylo Ren, Luke Skywalker, Rey, Leia, Snoke and Vice-Admiral Holdo.
Star Wars Youtube channel Mike Zeroh cites sources at Pinewood and other Star Wars sets around the world. Earlier today he reveale FIVE new scenes from The Last Jedi.
Now he has new information about the devastating way Darth Vader will feature in Episode 8.
Even from beyond the grave, Leia’s father is still causing her endless heartache and may even have helped destroyed the fragile Resistance just when teh First Order is at its most dangerous.
The Last Jedi will introduce Laura Dern’s Vice-Admiral Holdo and readers of the Star wars books will know that the revelation of Leia’s true parentage destroyed her political career and almost lost her everyting.
Zeroh says: “Holdo reminds Leia who her father really was and how he destroyed her son indirectly. Holdo mocks Leia countless times leading to them separating and splitting the Resistance into two teams with Poe Dameron following Leia.”
Vader also lives on in two other scenes.
Zeroh adds: “Snoke will reference Vader while he is instructing Kylo Ren. Some revelations are made.
“Rey asks Luke who he was. Luke explains how Vader was his father and how it destroyed his sister.
“Vader references will be important to the plot and how it changes the path of the characters. The references are small and each exchanged in a matter of seconds.”
Knowing how obsessed Kylo Ren is with his grandfather, Snoke’s revelations could bind his apprebtice closer or start a rift that many fans believe will start the fallen Skwalker’s slow and painful path to redemption.
