Ant-Man and The Wasp have officially begun production and while Marvel Studios’ production announcement included newcomers like Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, and Randall Park, there is at least one new character they left off the list.
You may remember we were the first ones to tell you the Bill Foster would be joining the MCU and now our source tells us that actor Sean Kleier has been cast as a yet unnamed character. While we don’t know his name, we’re told the character is a Special Agent in the film and described as the “mole” of the story.
We can imagine him working alongside Jimmy Woo or even being part of a separate investigation. With the Ghost as the film’s villain, we’re pretty sure that we’ll be seeing some corporate espionage going down, Kleier could be playing a character like CIA Special Agent Geoffrey Ballard. Ballard was a CIA agent who took a traitorous turn and became a costumed villain known as the Centurion.
While we can’t be sure who he is playing, we know adding another villain to the mix is going to further stir and already crazy pot. We reached out to Marvel for confirmation on Kleier’s role and they would neither confirm nor deny it for us.
