Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Gets The Teen Titans Go Treatment

Back in 2012 Nickelodeon released their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3d animated cartoon. It was super successful due to having major ties to many of the former versions of TMNT. The shows combines great story arcs with comedy that kids would love.

Sadly the show is on its last season but it was announced that they would be coming back with new show called Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The show will be co-produced by Andy Suriano (character designer for Samurai Jack) and will have a lighter tone Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will have a lot more humor compared to the 2012 series much like Teen Titans Go!

Teen Titans also got a comedic spinoff with Teen Titans Go!

I recently spoke with Greg Cipes (voiced Michaelangelo on TMNT and Beast Boy on Teen Titans) and he has said that he would also be involved with the new series probably to voice are favorite Ninja Turtle. No word yet if anyone else from the current series would return but Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to air Fall 2018 on Nickelodeon.
